A study in contrast. This striking tiered wedding cake was created for a luxury wedding at Villa Salviatino in Florence.

The bride wanted an understated, elegant look that had a few opulent details for this intimate destination wedding. Together we decided on a white wedding cake with perfectly clean crisp cake tiers on the top. On the bottom we designed exuberant layer of gold gilded sugar ruffles.

To take this wedding cake to the next level, the tiers were adorned with 3 extravagant bouquets of hand made sugar roses. After cutting the Tuscan Sunset wedding cake a bouquet of the delicate sugar flowers was set aside for the couple to save for their anniversary cake.
